Uber to bring folding boat seat toys to US customers

Uber will start selling folding boat chair toys to customers, a company spokesman said Monday, as the ride-hailing company prepares to launch a raft of new features in the US.
The folding chair toy is an example of a new toy designed to improve safety and comfort for passengers, but the product is only a “startup-only product,” the spokesman said.
Uber’s new folding chair toys will debut later this year.
“The folding paddle, for example, is designed to reduce the seat back to a safe, comfortable position while still giving you enough space to reach your smartphone and other electronics,” the Uber spokesman said in a statement.
“While there are other ways to make the chair seat more comfortable, these are the most effective.”
The Uber spokesman declined to identify specific customers.
“We have more than 100,000 customers and we’ve seen this type of technology in over a dozen markets across the globe,” he said.
“We expect to see this in more cities over the coming months.”
Uber is currently testing its new folding paddle in New York City.
The company has already introduced a folding seat back, a folding chair, and a folding bike seat.
The company also has plans to roll out folding bikes, as well as a folding airplane seat, and other new features.
In 2016, Uber added an app to allow users to fold and fold in the car.
It also added a new folding seat that allows customers to adjust the seat’s height, tilt, and tilt angle.
Uber did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
